Creative Work Consciously Made
KINTENT is a combination of two key concepts; kinship and content. The creative production studio, founded by Gemma Albone, is dedicated to telling diverse stories that generate positive change, whilst having as little impact on the climate as possible. Sharing Gemma’s passion for positive change, we created the visual identity, website and social content that would communicate the impact-driven production and progressive storytelling.

With inclusive casting, remote shooting and a network of diverse partners and participants around the world, they’re making sustainable and representative content with brands, charities and nonprofits. IYA was commissioned to create the visual identity alongside Lynn Cariou who created the custom wordmark.
For a digital-first company, we leaned into the digital-first approach, instilling the brand with dynamism and infectious energy through a vibrant colour direction and equally lively/spirited animation.

Taking reference from various film formats, we created a flexible design system which allowed for the various outputs to be drawn from a responsive gridded system of windows. We integrated the ‘creative content, consciously made’ into the wordmark which draws you into the flowing treatment of KINTENT’s portfolio.
Being a female-owned production company, we wanted to inject a sense of approachability and warmth into the type choices. To compliment the bold and rounded style of the custom wordmark, We opted for Dinamo’s ABC Ginto Normal, setting it in bold and regular. The use of bold caps with the regular weight allowed us to explore the progressive nature of Gemma's company, highlighting key phrases with the weight, whilst retaining a sense of familiarity and softness.
