Based on Mondrian’s Boogie Woogie artwork, we developed a conceptual mapping system that focussed in the creative and developing areas around the station.
The new map suggested redefining the east-west ‘horizontal’ streets of New York as well as the north-south vertical avenues to create a new way of looking at the city. The Boogie Woogie map provided ideas for a cultural masterplan for the area and inspirations for a new culture-led revival of the city quarter.
We were commissioned by Pocklington Press to create the brand and packaging for their first major project, collaborating with artists Barton Hargreaves, George Charman, Freya Pocklington and Cadence Kinsey.
Kiosk Magazine was developed as a strategic positioning and place-making tool for King’s Cross.
